SORBA Jax begins building new trail at Tillie Fowler Regional Park:
Saturday Decenmber 15th SORBA Jax began reconstruction on a section of trails at Tillie K Folwer Regional Park off of Roosevelt Blvd in Jacksonville. The club built two ladders bridges crossing one of the fill dirt ridges in the park. This is the first of 5 crossings this trail section will make over the same ridge. Wooden structures are planned to be extensively utilized to reduce damage from the trail on the erosion prone soil of the ridge. Watch out for the next workday when we will build two additional crossings and open up the first half of the new trail! BOOM!
